Naran Kaghan Tour — 2027 All-Inclusive 4 Days
The Naran Kaghan Tour takes you to Pakistan's most beloved mountain valley — a 4-day journey through the spectacular Kaghan Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, home to the enchanting Lake Saif ul Malook, the green plateau of Shogran, the wildflower meadows of Lalazar and the rushing Kunhar River. This is one of Pakistan's most family-friendly mountain destinations.
Lake Saif ul Malook
The most famous lake in Pakistan — a brilliant turquoise glacial lake at 3,224 m surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Accessible by jeep from Naran, the lake is particularly magical at dawn when mist rises from the water and the surrounding peaks are reflected in perfect stillness. According to local legend, a fairy princess fell in love with a prince here — giving the lake its name.
Shogran Plateau
A beautiful green plateau at 2,300 m above the Kaghan Valley — accessible by chairlift or jeep track. The plateau is carpeted with wildflowers in summer and offers spectacular views of Musa Ka Musalla (4,080 m). A perfect base for forest walks and family picnics.
Lalazar Meadows
One of the finest alpine meadows in Pakistan at 3,200 m — a vast green plateau of exceptional natural beauty, carpeted with wildflowers in July and August, with panoramic views in all directions.

Why Karakoram Venture
Because the people who take you up this mountain are from it. Our guides grew up in these valleys, and they are our own team — not a booking desk handing you to whoever is cheapest that week. Every one of them holds a guide licence from DTS Gilgit-Baltistan and the Federal DTS, renewed each year, and worked at least five years in the region before applying for it. Most also hold Wilderness First Aid.
Because the safety is real, and we will name it rather than imply it. A satellite phone travels in every camp, we hold established helicopter-rescue contacts for this region, and we tell you exactly which travel insurance to carry. Budget operators cut precisely these things, because you cannot see them on a web page.
Because the price is honest. Local infrastructure is why $180 per person covers the trip from Islamabad rather than a stripped-down base rate. Exactly what it includes — and the handful of things it does not — is set out above.
